Riviera 5400 Sport Yacht – Western Australian Premiere
The 5400 Sport Yacht has impressed owners and boat show visitors around the world since her launch early last year.
“The three-stateroom, two-bathroom 5400 model is an evolution of the luxury single-level living design for which Riviera’s Sport Yacht series is highly awarded,” said Mr Longhurst.
“The forward deck features a cushioned and upholstered sun lounge and, in the cockpit, a sunroof slides open at the touch of a button so you can also enjoy the sunshine out of the wind. This is a true entertainer’s cockpit that flows through to the aft gourmet galley and spacious saloon through a large sliding glass door and awning window that opens out and places the chef in the centre of the social environment.”
The sports-inspired centreline helm console provides excellent visibility and ergonomics so that all critical navigation electronics, comprehensive engine instrumentation and vessel controls are within easy reach. An L-shape lounge on the port side beside the helm provides guests with a panoramic view.
The accommodation deck of the 5400 Sport Yacht features a midships luxurious full-beam master stateroom with en suite, the option for either a port side guest stateroom or an accommodation atrium lounge and a spacious VIP guest stateroom forward.
Base power for the 5400 Sport Yacht is the Volvo Penta D11-IPS800 propulsion system with twin D11 turbo diesel engines and IPS20 pod-drives (460kW/626hp each). Owners have the option of the D11-IPS950 system featuring twin D11 engines and IPS20 pod-drives (533kW/725hp each). The systems are backed by Volvo Penta’s five-year warranty.
Riviera 525 SUV on display in Perth
The sporty and adventurous 525 SUV combines the hull of the sea-kindly Riviera Flybridge collection with the single level lifestyle design well-loved of Sport Yachts, making it ideal for entertaining and watersports or for extended cruising.
The open cockpit is certain to be the centre of activities with lounges fore and aft and barbecue amenities.
A glass sliding door and awning window open to seamlessly create one unified space from the large boarding platform through to the front windscreen. The 525’s interior saloon includes a fully equipped U-shape galley aft on the port side with dinette immediately forward with a comfortable lounge opposite. A central helm and port companion chairs are immediately forward of the dinette, facing a sport wheel, engine controls and comprehensive navigation displays.
Stepping below to the accommodation deck, the 525’s master stateroom amidships on the port side features a queen-sized walk-around bed. A private en suite is forward. This stateroom has the option to be configured as guest accommodation, with the forward VIP stateroom configured as the master. In this configuration the starboard bathroom becomes the master en suite.
The forward stateroom features a comfortable queen-sized walk-around bed and large hull windows. Dual deck hatches maximise natural light and ventilation.
The starboard aft cabin offers adult-sized twin beds.
Ample storage in all cabins includes cedar-lined hanging lockers, drawers and under-bed storage.
Riviera has selected the proven D11-IPS800 system to power the 525 SUV, with twin D11 engines and IPS20 pod-drives (460kW/626hp each). Owners have the option of upgrading to the IPS2-950 pod-drive package (655kW/725hp each). The systems are backed by Volvo Penta’s five-year warranty.
