Riviera announces premier model line-up for Palm Beach International Boat Show

GOLD COAST, AUSTRALIA: After a long hot summer in its homeland, master motor yacht builder Riviera is delivering a refreshing cool change to Florida’s Palm Beach International Boat Show from 26-29 March.

Three premium-luxury models will make their Palm Beach premiere – the new-dimension 505 SUV plus the 5400 and 4800 Sport Yachts in luxurious Platinum Edition livery – alongside the 545 SUV.

Accompanying them will be the supremely distinctive and stylish Belize 66 Daybridge, another premiere for the Palm Beach show.

Each model has been crafted with the built-to-last qualities for which Australia’s seascape is renowned, along with a beauty rich and rare, as Riviera begins a year of celebration to mark four decades of evolution in motor yacht design and construction.

Riviera Australia owner Rodney Longhurst is naturally proud of the Palm Beach show collection, showcasing five models from the company’s 20-model fleet to cater for a wide range of on-water pursuits and enjoyment.

Tailor-made for America’s famous nautical lifestyle, which reflects that of the Queensland Gold Coast where Riviera is headquartered.

Riviera 505 SUV

Newly launched to world-wide acclaim, the Riviera 505 SUV has elevated this versatile design to new heights, blending design cues from Riviera’s world-class Motor Yacht and Flybridge collections while offering the single-level lifestyle benefits of her Sport Yacht sisters.

Redefining privacy and luxury, a semi-enclosed mezzanine seating area becomes the 505 SUV’s social centre point, an alfresco haven in which to recline and enjoy casual dining or sip cocktails, regardless of the weather. Twin sliding sunroof hatches in the extended hardtop allow light, air and the night sky to filter in from above.

Her large and flexible cockpit allows for fishing, diving, paddle-boarding, or simply entertaining with family and friends.

Below, a full-width, five-star master suite adds a new dimension of space, affording a generous island bed, a longitudinal bureau to port and chaise lounge to starboard – a front-row seat to the surrounding water views via hull windows. An en-suite and walk-in wardrobe, meanwhile, are just a few steps away.

The ambience is restful, elegant and light-filled, with the most luxurious finishes. Couples and families will enjoy many nights afloat in absolute comfort.

For guests, there are two other staterooms – a for’ard VIP stateroom appointed with a queen-sized double berth, twin hanging lockers, en-suite and hull windows, plus a twin-berth guest cabin to starboard.

Residing in a superbly functional and engineered engine room are twin state-of-the-art Volvo Penta D11 IPS 800 turbo diesels. They’re married to joystick controls and twin 16-inch Volvo Penta Glass Bridge screens on a helm console that would be the pride of any discerning skipper.

Belize 66 Daybridge

The Belize design brings grace and charm to the premium motor yacht market. Rarely are such refined levels of appointments and craftsmanship found, along with effortless planning performance that really sets the 66 Daybridge apart.

With only a limited number of Belize yachts constructed each year, mostly with bespoke finishes and customised detailing, ensures that owners receive the motor yacht of their dreams.

Expanding the Belize collection from the favoured 54 Sedan and Daybridge, the international design and manufacturing teams have more than delivered on their promise of creating the ultimate motor yacht. Every distinctive surface, every harmonious and handsome curve, has been considered with form, function and fashion.

Riviera Sport Yachts 5400 and 4800 Series II Platinum

Exhilarating sports performance melded with luxuriant relaxation are the key characteristics of these outstanding yachts.

The many Platinum Edition refinements have been transformative for both the aesthetic outlook and the inner comforts, testament to Riviera’s contemporary design and superior performance.

Beyond the unmistakable addition of hardtops and targa arches accented in Platinum, beauty also runs deep with quality features such as Sunbrella fabrics, warm high-gloss walnut timber cabinetry and trim, and pure wool carpet underfoot in the staterooms.

The 4800, in particular, received so many refinements that is designated a Series II. Now included are a new cockpit wet bar, new galley benches, new saloon and cockpit lounges, new headlining, luxurious fabrics, and much more. Twin Volvo IPS 800 turbo diesels afford a class-leading power-to-weight ratio.

For the 5400 Sport Yacht Platinum Edition, new waterfall benches for the galley and lavish leather Recaro helm chairs immediately catch the eye upon entry to the saloon. Further rewards are found below as cabin floor space has been increased in the forward master stateroom, along with a larger starboard hanging locker, three-drawer bureau and 32-inch TV.

Riviera 545 SUV

Bred for oceanic adventures in inimitable Riviera style, the 545 SUV is hailed as two yachts in one – a free-flowing, single-level sport yacht entertainer with the cruising pedigree of a flybridge. In many ways, however, it stands alone by offering a full-beam master suite among its many pleasures.

The hull was designed to deliver a soft, dry and efficient ride, bolstered by the legendary structural strength that Riviera is renowned for. A low centre of gravity makes it exceptionally well settled underway. At the same time, Volvo Penta IPS power options [800 and 950] provide breathtaking performance and ease of handling.

Guests can immerse themselves in the driving experience from the helm’s accompanying L-shaped lounge. It has a hi-lo dining table that folds and lowers to become a coffee table, while a sumptuous three-seater lounge resides to starboard.
