Riviera’s Perth dealership, R Marine Perth, has welcomed two new members to its team.

Sales professional Ben Watkins and office manager Sue Totterdell have joined long-time R Marine Perth owner care manager Tim Wright who has been providing customer support to Perth’s Riviera owners for over five years.

The past few months have been a very busy time for R Marine Perth with Tim moving into a sales role for new Riviera and Belize Motoryachts as well as pre-owned boats.  Tim’s strong knowledge of Riviera boats has helped the dealership achieve an impressive number of brokerage sales in the past 12 weeks.  Since Tim has moved into sales, R Marine Perth has sold 12 brokerage boats and have generated a high level of new model enquiry with all of this activity, Tim is proud and very happy to welcome Ben Watkins onboard.

“Ben has spent many years in the marine industry in Western Australia and his enthusiasm for Riviera and R Marine Perth is absolutely infectious.  He has already listed multiple brokerage boats for the dealership and attended the Sydney International Boat Show where he met many of our owners that had flown to Sydney to view the new 50 Enclosed Flybridge and 565 SUV amongst Riviera’s and Belize’s exciting new models,” Tim said.

“Ben brings a wealth of nautical experience to R Marine Perth, including eight months aboard a 60 foot motor vessel on the French Riviera, skippering, navigating, experience in boat sales, marketing, branding and he holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree.”

Ben said his previous experience had given him a great insight into the broader marine industry.

“I have gained a detailed understanding of the local marine industry through working as a boat broker, which has allowed me to build a significant network of clients,” Ben said.

“My passion for boats has stemmed from a lifetime of being around boats and the ocean.  My experience, including time spent working on boats overseas has allowed me to develop a very wide skill set around every aspect of boat ownership and I am delighted to be joining the R Marine Perth team and have the opportunity to share my knowledge and experience.”

Tim said Sue Totterdell was also a welcome addition to the dealership and her expertise in office management would be a great asset to the growing team.

“Sue has a very professional approach to her work and will make this dealership a seamless operation for both our team and our owners,” Tim said.

Riviera CEO Wes Moxey said Riviera Australia was very focused on growing owner support in Western Australia through two dealership locations, Perth and Mandurah.

“We are 100 per cent behind Tim and the new team to continue the fine efforts of this dealership as we enter an exciting new phase of growth,” Mr Moxey said.

“Great owner experience events have been a hallmark of the R Marine Perth dealership and such events will continue as normal, in fact the team are planning a series of new events for 2014 that will inspire Riviera and Belize owners.  A major cruise event will take place in April next year and R Marine Perth owners will be shortly notified directly regarding these plans.
